I am from Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, Canada. I graduated in 2000 with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Red Deer College and the University of Alberta collaborative program.

After 15 years working in a variety of Emergency Departments back home and abroad, as an ER Travel Nurse, I joined the Mercy Health St.Vincent's Trauma service in 2015. I truly enjoy working with our Trauma patients and their families as we help them navigate the experience in the hospital.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Bethany and our 2 sons (Grant, age 8 and Lukas, age 4). Our boys make sure we are kept busy every day!!

I still find time to play hockey once a week, be involved with our church, play my Euphonium in a brass quartet and swing a golf club once in a while.

We love to travel home to Alberta when we get the chance.
