Dr. Novakovic was born in Indiana. She went to undergrad at Northwestern University and studied Psychology. She also studied biology at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. She completed her medical school at Wayne State University and went on to do her general surgical residency at Wayne State University as well. She spent some time employed in PA and in the Toledo area where she currently lives and works.
